AsterisM, 2024

An asterism is a pattern of stars that can be seen in the starry sky but does not count as an official constellation. Like constellations, they are made up of seemingly nearby stars, which are in the same approximate direction, but may be at very different distances from Earth. An asterism can consist of stars from one or more constellations. They are composed by a small number of stars, which makes them easy to identify.
